Note: There are 6 questions in this paper. Question No.6 is compulsory and carries 25 marks. From the remaining questions, you may attempt any three. Each of these questions carries 15 marks.

4. (a) Explain the steps that form part of quality assurance of each of the phases of a Software Development Life Cycle. [10]

(b) List at least five major types of documentation. Explain any one of them in detail. [5]

5. (a) What are knowledge based systems? Explain with an example. [5]

(b) Explain any five criteria for vendor selection. [5]

(c) Describe the “Organization Pyramid” and “Information Pyramid”. How are they related to each other? [5]

6. (a) Describe the three stages/phases of multimedia project development. [6]

(b) What are the factors that are to be considered while designing Human-Machine interfaces? Discuss any one of the factors in detail. [5]

(c) What is an application of a decision tree? Describe it with the help of an example.
